About the Founder/Owner
Robin MacLeod has been working on HCAI (formerly OSHPD) projects as a full time licensed HCAI Class A IOR since 1994. For 14+ years he has led and presented the Title 24 Hospital Construction Code Study Seminars. Over the years these seminars included guest presentations by experts in all fields of inspection and provided an environment for sharing of information and for aspiring IORs to begin their journey to getting their IOR license.

Robin MacLeod – President IOR Services/IOR Training
Robin has been working on HCAI (formerly OSHPD) projects as a full time licensed HCAI Class A IOR since 1994. For 14+ years he has led and presented the Title 24 Hospital Construction Code Study Seminars. Over the years these seminars included guest presentations by experts in all fields of inspection and provided an environment for sharing of information and for aspiring IORs to begin their journey to acquiring their IOR license.
Robin’s more than 40 years of extensive background of structural inspection has allowed him to understand the HCAI structural requirements for the building frame and the non-structural anchorage requirements.
Prior to becoming an IOR, Robin performed inspections with Smith Emery Co. as a structural Deputy Inspector with licenses in Concrete, Masonry, Pre-stress, Structural Steel Erection, High Strength Bolting and Structural Steel Welding–giving him comprehensive knowledge and experience in the field of construction inspection.
