Are your hospital construction plans up to code? Every three years, California adopts a new set of building codes. And in between those cycles OSHPD has the opportunity to make corrections and minor changes in the intervening 2019 California Building Standards Code (CBSC), California Code of Regulations, Title 24. It is being published in January 2021 and becomes effective July 2021. That means all building permit applications submitted on or after July 1 must be compliant with these intervening requirements. Changes to the code are significant and broad in scope. Hospitals planning or considering new construction projects should not miss this informational two-session webinar series.
Due to the amount of information to be presented and the time limitations of a webinar, this presentation will be broken into two sessions.
Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) Technical Lead Disciplines will outline important changes in the intervening CBSC and explain what healthcare facilities, design professionals, and their construction teams should consider to achieve compliance.
