Remodel (Renovations, Alterations, Repairs)

The legal occupancy of any structure existing on the date of adoption of the code shall be permitted to continue use without change. This code section has led to varying interpretations of what is required during a remodel and how the scope of work is defined. This presentation will clarify the confusion.
